Synergy Health Club
Synergy Health Clubs are medical fitness centers that work closely with partner hospitals to help boost community outreach and engagement. Active Wellness oversaw marketing and operations management, which included rebranding and even two name changes. I handled the rebranding efforts using the guidelines given to me.The rebranding project included everything from a website, uniforms, agreements, to in-club wayfinding signage and more.
Prior to Synergy's rebranding, their promotional marketing lacked visual hierarchy and presence in the club. Members overlooked the marketing because every piece looked the same and it was hard to differentiate their program offerings.
I took inventory of their current marketing, keeping in mind that I had to work with their existing sign holders. I designed a color-coded system that included icons based on each department's main function. Engagement increased because members could easily glance and scan the marketing material based on their interests.
Black Friday
Because Black Friday was a special annual event, I was allowed to break brand standards in order to attract a wider audience. My updated designs for direct mail, web ads and emails helped contribute to a successful Black Friday. Synergy reached over 110% of goal, with 51% of new joins coming from direct mail alone.
The Aquatics program is a huge draw for the health club. I condensed various handouts to encompass all of the different programs into one brochure.
Membership representatives requested note cards that highlighted the club's offerings. I added verbs to encompass a healthy lifestyle.
A challenge I had when designing this rate sheet was getting all the information in on one page.
Synergy Health Club worked closely with local physicians to encourage their patients to start a safe fitness routine to better their health.
